Our personal favourite tour of the year, honest! this unique cycling holiday offers something for everyone.... getting up close and personal with the pro riders (and we mean getting up close - its a more personal affair than the TDF), riding beautiful scenic back-roads in the picturesque French Alpes and finally relaxing in some of the finest accommodation in wonderful locations.  Even non riders simply LOVE this tour, all clients for the past 2 years have raved about their experiences on the Dauphine with the family and friends, many returning for more!

Starting and finishing in Geneva, we will spend time in an 12th Century Chateau on the shores of Lake Leman (Geneva), explore the surrounds and quiet back roads of beautiful Annecy and cosy up in front of a fire in one of the finest hotels in the beautiful ski village of Megeve. With sunny days and crisp nights, it's a fantastic time of year to explore the French Alpes by bike. No stone has been left un-turned in presenting the ultimate holiday for cycling enthusiasts and indeed their partners.

The Criterium du Dauphiné is an important race in the lead-up to the Tour de France, and it is part of the UCI World Ranking calendar, operated by the ASO. Because the Dauphiné is a mountainous area, the winners are often climbing specialists. Many climbs that are famous from the Tour de France – like the Mont Ventoux, l'Alpe d'Huez, the Col du Galibier or Col de Colombier – appear often in the Dauphiné Libéré. Past winners include Chirstopher Froome, Bradley Wiggins, Alberto Contador and Cadel Evans winning multiple stages and GC podium finishes. If history repates itself, whoever wins the 204 Dauphine is set to win the Tour de France!

We will feel like the ONLY people on the mountain watching the race pass by, it's so unique and an incredible experience. In 2013, once the riders and convoy descended past our group, we hoped on the bikes and followed the convoy down as if we were in the race itself!! Crowds cheering us on and on closed roads, it was an amazing experience that clients have taken away with them for the rest of their lives.

The Northern French Alpes Also known as the Savoire Region of France, we know you are going to fall in love with this most prestigious and pristine regions of Europe. With an abundance of ski villages it present the ideal location to run a cycling tour through the summer months, with access to some of the most beautiful roads and iconic climbs often frequented by the Tour de France. The primary focus of this holiday is spent being personally guided through the Alpes with all the time in the world. Even those not riding or just riding a little will enjoy the many things on offer whilst others want to ride that extra climb or two!

Time Megeve Sportive One of Frances biggest 1 day mass participation rides through the picturesque French Alpes, the Time Megeve Cyclo Sportive is a day to remember! Line up with fellow cycling enthusiasts from various nationalities, all there just to have a great day on the bike. Indeed there are professionals on the front grid aiming for a performance that may secure a future contract, but in the main it's just about the challenge of riding the most iconic climbs adjecent the Mont Blanc Massif. Choose what distance to ride, you can even decide as you go, depending on how you feel! Clients from past years have said this has been one of the best days on a bike and Steve will provide you all the insight and preparation advice leading up to the ride -  so if you have ever wondered what it is like riding with thousands of others through the French Alpes, this is your chance to shine!
