It’s great to have one of the world’s greatest cycling events in our hometown of Adelaide each year. As an Official Travel Specialist of the STDU and the only Adelaide-based international cycling tour operator, we're delighted to showcase our home town in style.  Co-owned by Steve Cunningham, a former 5 time rider of the Tour Down Under (Team UniSA), winning the ‘Most Aggressive’ jersey twice plus being part of the winning TDU team in 2004, who better to personally accompany you on these wonderful cycling day tours through the Adelaide Hills than procyclingtours!

 

 

Back by popular demand, we are delighted to once again offer a range of Great Value Day Tours.  We’d love to show you around our ‘backyard’ in personal style. Be treated like a pro, by the pro's and experience the STDU with the owner of the business who's actually raced the event with the Australian National Team (Team UniSA) 5 times. (numbers are strictly limited to ensure an intimate and flexible experience - so be quick) Limited to 20 guests per day tour to ensure everyone is extremely well catered for.

 

ALL DAY TOURS INCLUDE:

  •     Fully supported and guided 3 hour ride (up to 6 hours if riding back to Adelaide), including experienced ride guides, mechanical and vehicle support.
  •     On board drinks and ride snacks.
  •     Welcome drink upon arrival at a local cafe.
  •     BBQ Trackside buffet lunch upon arrival including cold drinks and something sweet.
  •     Photos of your day.
  •     Day bag transfer - so you don't have to carry your walking shoes, camera and other stuff on the ride.
  •     Secure bike storage at the event so you can walk around and enjoy all the action.
  •     As a former pro rider in the Tour Down Under and pro-team Director Sportif, Steve Cunningham, will provide you with full insight into the stage and racing tactics.
  •     Steve will accompany you on the day and take you to key locations to watch the race unfold.
  •     Sag wagon support.
  •     Optional bus and bike transfer back to Adelaide (only on specified tours at an additional cost with numbers strictly limited)

Cancellation policy specific to our TDU Day Tours:           

  • 90+ days prior to trip start date: full refund.
  • 0-90 days: no refund
  • No exceptions made for injuries, personal health crisis, work or travel related issues.
  • Should you cancel your trip with us and we be able to fill your vacancy up to 31 days prior to departure, we will refund your tour payment.

 

Product Information and Conditions Summary - STDU PRODUCTS

  • Club Tour Polo sizes cannot be changed after 22 November 2013.
  • Club Tour Polo sizes will not be guaranteed for bookings made after 22 November 2013.
  • A full Club Tour itinerary outlining the week’s schedule will be emailed in December.
  • Each participant needs to complete and sign the Bupa Challenge Tour registration form.
  • Bupa Challenge Tour jersey sizes cannot be changed after registration confirmation.
  • Bupa Challenge Tour jerseys are not posted out. Either procyclingtours OR the can collect their participant’s jersey at the pre event registration or on the morning of the ride.

 

Cancellations and refunds of STDU product registration
 

  • The following cancellation and refund policy applies to STDU Product registrations:
  • Cancellations made in writing to SATC before 1 November 2013 are fully refundable.
  • Cancellations made in writing to SATC between 1 November and 1 December 2013 will result in a forfeit of the $50.00 per product.
  • Cancellations after 1 December 2013 are non refundable however a customer is entitled to request that the STDU membership be transferred to another person up until 3 January 2014 who then becomes liable to pay the retail price for the STDU membership.
