You will experience some amazing cols, the classics, including Col du Galibier, Col d'Izoard, Lautaret, Monte Cenisio, Passo di Agnello and of course the most famous of them all, Alpe d'Huez. Ride the climbs made famous by the grand tours at your own pace.

Staying in some incredible locations and fantastic hotels, some dating back to the 13th Century (with 21st Century facilities!), including Avigliana, La Grave, Embrun and Saluzzo, We know you'll enjoy your time off the bike just as much as when in lycra! This Tour has been expecially designed to avoid lengthy van transfers between locations, infact you will have the option to ride to each hotel being supported all the way. With a moderate level of fitness recommended for this tour as a minimum, the Italian and French Alps await!

We encourage you to ride at your own pace and cater for all abilities from the super fit right through to the weekend warrior. We are able to offer this flexibility due to the high number of guides on tour, our ability to offer flexible options as well as the use of mini vans for support.

This tour is pitched at the more adventourous and whom are up for a challenge. If you're not sure whether you ready, pelase drop Steve an email and he'll be more than happy to provide recommendations. We can even tailorise a training program free of charge leading up the holiday to make sure to get the very best out of your cycling experience.

We welcome non-riders

If you only want to ride a little or not at all, we embrace non riders - after all, the Dolomites and surrounds is an amazing 'once in a lifetime' experience for all. For those non riding partners, there will be time to explore pretty villages, local walks, markets and indeed the beauty of the French & Italian Alps. Simply enjoy the pleasures of a holiday – perhaps lazing by the pool or a long lunch.  Some days you will have your own chaperone and van to explore the region. Each year we have many returning non-riders and those who come along the first time always have their expectations exceeded  - our philosophy is its just as much their holiday as it is the riders.
